Subcontactors are integral to our business, and we would not have the standing and reputation we have today without them. Over many years we have developed close working relationships with numerous local tradesmen on a sub contract basis.

We have put together an extensive database of vetted and reliable subcontractors who all have one thing in common, like us they all hold a firm commitment to quality workmanship, attention to detail and to sticking to contract timescales - allowing us to complete contracts on time or ahead of programme.

The Tender Process

The vetting procedure for tender purposes is strict. Subcontractors are required to submit an up-to-date health and safety policy, provide proof of insurance details and relevant proof of registration with the appropriate industry bodies and regulators.

During the tender process, a minimum of three subcontractors for each trade will be asked to provide their quotation for the job. It will not always necessarily be the cheapest price which wins the contract, but other factors will be taken into consideration.

These will include proven quality of workmanship, size of project, the programming requirements, availability, and, if relevant, success of past working relationships and past performance. No subcontractor will be invited to tender without prior discussion and without our commitment to returning a tender.
